Conserving Biodiversity for Life and Livelihood
Since the Industrial Revolution, the living conditions of humans have rapidly improved, granting us comfortable and convenient lifestyles. However, this progress has also led to the rapid loss of beautiful natural environments across the Earth. Specifically, as a researcher focusing on amphibians and reptiles, I have witnessed firsthand how human activities have caused habitat loss and changes in their ecosystems. While I have a strong desire to conserve these creatures, I also recognize the importance of continuing human development. In my research, I aim to identify the optimal balance in the trade-off between biodiversity and human advancement, and develop a nature-symbiosis system that maximizes that balance.
